AFFILIATIONS & SAFETY

  • We are members of The Gordon’s Bay Boat Angling Club.
  • All our skippers and deckhands are STCW 95 qualified (first aid, firefighting, personal safety at sea, life raft training)
  • We are fully insured and have public and passenger liability, public liability insurance up to R20 Million. STCW qualified crew & skippers.
  • We are inspected and surveyed through SAMSA annually as a Charter.

TERMS & CONDITIONS PAYMENT FOR YOUR CHARTER

A full upfront payment is required if a booking is made within 7 days or less.

BOOKING DEPOSIT

Please note, a non-refundable booking deposit of R1000.00 will be required to reserve a booking. On receipt of a booking confirmation, a significant amount of administrative work and preparation is required to check and schedule the availability of a boat, skipper, crew, ensure we have the boat ready, sufficient tackle, rods, ice, bait, catering, fuel, staff, logistics and all other organization around a charter prepared. This costs both time and money which is why a cancellation policy exists & which is the norm in the adventure, hospitality & tourism industry.

CANCELLATION POLICY

If you cancel your booking, please note the following cancellation policies which apply.

  • 7 days or less prior to arrival – 100% cancellation fee will be charged
  • 8 -14 days prior to arrival – 50% cancellation fee will be charged
  • 15-30 days prior to arrival – 25% cancellation fee will be charged

CANCELLATION DUE TO BAD WEATHER

If WE decide that the weather is not SAFE or conditions are not safe enough to go out to sea, we WILL reschedule you to another day. If there is not a suitable date, a refund less the non- refundable booking fee may apply subject to confirmation of the situation by us.
